Megha Amrith is the Principal Investigator of the WELL-ASIA project. She is Associate Professor for Globalisation and Transnationalism at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences in Maastricht University. Megha’s research interests include transnational mobilities, migrant care labour, ageing, inequalities, and wellbeing in Southeast Asia and in global comparative perspective.

Kristel Acedera is the doctoral researcher of the WELL-ASIA project. She was previously a Research Associate in the Asian Migration Cluster of the Asia Research Institute, National University of Singapore. Kristel’s current research interests revolve around labour migration, global care chains, gendered intimacies, transnational mobilities, marriage and familyhood, and the digital spaces and temporalities of communication technologies.

Hanum Atikasari is a postdoctoral researcher on the WELL-ASIA project. She worked as a PhD researcher on the ERC project Globalizing Palliative Care, hosted by Leiden University, where she studied the care trajectories of women with advanced cancer and end‑of‑life care practices in Indonesia. Her research interests include medical and psychological anthropology, morality and ethics, care, inequalities, and the ways in which health and well‑being are understood, negotiated, and practiced.

Karlien Strijbosch is a postdoctoral researcher in the WELL-ASIA project. She is interested in how social structures and (global) inequalities shape people’s lives in intersecting ways. Her research focuses on practices of inclusion and exclusion, transnational mobilities, gender and sexuality, and relationships of care. She conducted research in multiple locations, including Singapore, Senegal, Germany, and the Netherlands.

Lana Ðaković is the project manager for the Well-Asia project. She ensures the seamless execution of funded projects, overseeing milestones and preparing detailed reports for Principal Investigators. As the Office Manager for the Memory Studies Association (MSA), she is responsible for communications, financial reports, competitive proposals, and managing their online presence.

Laura Ogden is the co-supervisor of Kristel Acedera's PhD research in WELL-ASIA. She is Assistant Professor in the Globalisation, Transnationalism and Development research program at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences in Maastricht University. Laura's research interests centre around the lives of transnational youth between between West Africa and Europe, which she explores through audiovisual, multimodal, and participatory ethnography.

Srna Todorova is the Research Assistant for the WELL-ASIA project. She is a recent graduate from the BSc. Global Studies at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences in Maastricht University. Srna's research interests include topics at the intersection of sustainability, migration studies, development, and environmental science.
